the overnight oat thing — basically zero effort

Right so I keep saying I'll sort breakfast the night before and then I don't, and then it's 7:15 and Alfie cannae find his left shoe and Isla's decided she dinnae like the bowl I've given her (the green one, always the green one) and I'm eating nothing or grabbing whatever. This week I actually did it though. Rolled oats, a big spoon of Greek yoghurt, splash of oat milk, a wee handful of frozen blueberries chucked on top. Takes maybe four minutes to throw together the night before. In the morning it's just... there. Blueberries have sort of melted down into it overnight which looks a bit grim honestly but tastes dead good. I've been adding a half scoop of whey into mine — just the vanilla one — stirs in fine and you cannae taste it. Kirsty thinks it's unnecessary but I'm on my feet all day on site so I'll take the protein where I can get it. Alfie had a spoonful and said it tasted "like yoghurt" which for him is basically a rave review. Isla refused to look at it. So. Two out of four, I'll take it.
