collagen in summer feels different and I think I get why now

So I've been doing collagen in my morning drink for a while now, right, and in winter it just kind of disappears into whatever I'm making. But summer hits and suddenly I'm actually noticing it more. Or maybe noticing the difference when I skip it more. Honestly the sun here in Cornwall is deceptive. People think oh it's not Spain, it can't be that intense. But you're out on the water for three, four hours, wind on your face the whole time, salt drying everything out, and by the end of the week your skin just feels... tight? Like it's working harder than it should be. I don't have any fancy explanation for it, just that it's a feeling I've learned to recognise over the years. What I've been doing lately is putting collagen into a cold drink instead of hot — basically just a big glass of water with some lemon and a scoop, done before I head out. Used to do it in a latte but it's too warm for that right now tbh. To be fair I don't know if the cold vs hot thing makes any actual difference, probably not, but it feels more like a summer thing to drink and I'm more likely to stick to it if it doesn't feel like effort. Mind you I'm still terrible with sunscreen. Working on it.

do you find it dissolves alright in cold drinks or do you have to use hot?
